'The sunlight of hope, pale at first but getting stronger through the day. Shining once again on a country with an opportunity after 14 years to get its future back.' Childcare rollout – The party is in the process of its 'free childcare' plan that will give working parents 30 hours of free childcare a week from when their child is nine months old to when they start school, saving families an average of £6,900 per year. This is being delivered in stages to finish by September 2025. Labour have promised to honour this policy.
