The criminal court case over the Tasmanian jumping castle tragedy, which claimed the lives of six children, has faced another delay over concerns over the inspection of the castle used that fateful day.

A criminal court hearing over the Hillcrest Primary School tragedy has faced more delays, with defence experts not yet granted access to inspect the jumping castle.

Six children at the school died — Zane Mellor, Peter Dodt, Jalailah Jayne-Maree Jones, Addison Stewart, Jye Sheehan, and Chace Harrison — and three were seriously injured when the jumping castle was lifted into the air by a gust of wind. She told the court the jumping castle was currently an exhibit of the Coroner's Court, and that the coroner would decide on July 24 whether to release it for the defence's witnesses to inspect.

Ms Wilson said she was also working on detailed agreed facts for the hearing, so fewer eyewitnesses would be needed in court.
