The Central Texas nonprofit Partnerships for Children helps to advocate and provide resources for children involved with the Department of Family and Protective Services .'s Rainbow Room is stocking up on school supplies ahead of the start of the new school year. The nonprofit's top needs are: who need secure and permanent families. Every day, there are nearly 1,000 children waiting to get adopted in Central Texas, according to PFC.
