Higher Education Minister reports increasing HIV cases in students aged 18-25 from 2020 to 2023

: The number of HIV infections are increasing among tertiary students aged between 18 to 25, according to Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir.

“The percentage of students from public or private higher education institutions infected with HIV ranged between 6.7% and 7.6% of the total number of new HIV cases identified in the years mentioned,“ he said.
