A Tennessee movie theater that sits across from a church and next to an elementary school is promoting the latest movie in the"Hellboy" franchise as"Heckboy."

The Tennessean reports the PG advertisement at the Dickson theater has caused a local buzz around the $50 million movie, which grossed $19.8 million in its first two weekends. Manager Belinda Daniel says the theater avoids putting up words on its sign that may be seen as profanity. She says they want to be respectful to everyone, including the hundreds of children who pass by every day. But she says the response to the theater's play on words has been more exciting than expected.Information from: The Tennessean, http://www.tennessean.com

You gotta be kidding!

Wow. Just, wow.

Facking lame

Lol wowee

Heck is for people who don’t believe in Gosh.

EdMorrissey Slow news day? Who gives a f?

So is there some sort of copyright issue here, for promoting the film while purposefully changing the title ?

😂😂😂 👌🏼

But the church is happy to condemn people who don’t donate to the church to Hell, boy.

Better than Fuckboy, I guess.

Relax everyone. Judging by the reviews, if indeed this film was an Infernal production, the denizens of Hades make garbage movies.

Pearl-clutching is really a thing down South.

That's kinda sweet considering its directly across from the church. We should respect each other in ways like this. imho

enjoyed the earlier films though, and preferred the original actor for Hellboy. Why did they change him? keeping the original cast is always preferred, I think, no?

Why? It was the church that made Hell up.

A bit late arent you?
