Relative of 97-year-old resident has hit out at students and Leeds Council over dumped possessions

A Leeds street has been turned into an 'absolutely disgusting' mess by students who have moved out, leaving piles of unwanted possessions on the pavement, it is claimed.

Helen says the amount of possessions dumped this year appears to be the worst she has ever seen. The piles of rubbish includes bedding, mirrors, and clothing. There was so much rubbish on the pavement Helen had to push her aunt's wheelchair onto the road to get past. She told LeedsLive that the students had created the mess over the weekend and it was still there on Monday this week.
