A federal class action lawsuit could block California legislation which seeks to ban school district policies requiring teachers to notify parents of their children's gender identity., is awaiting approval on the desk of Gov. Gavin Newsom. If signed by the governor, it would become illegal for districts to implement "forced outing policies" and would require them to create resources for transgender students and their families.
