A 15-year-old student of Al-Ameen College in Ogun State, Nimotallah Tiamiyu, has emerged the winner of the 2024 edition of Brightest National Agric Science Quiz Contest.
Tiamiyu won the grand finale of the competition, which aired on Sunday, earning the sum of N4 million in scholarship in the process.Jubril Olukolu, who is a student of Ilasan Senior Secondary School, Lagos, emerged the first runner-up, pocketing N2.4 million in scholarship with her teachers getting N240,000.
Aninze Jennifer finished in the third position and got a reward of N1.4 million in scholarships with N144,000 going to her teachers. Chubuike Aloysius, who is a student of Brainfield Schools, Lagos, came fourth in the final of the competition and went away with N816,000 in scholarship while his teacher received N81,000.
Five other students who made the top nine earned the remainder of the contest’s N16 million scholarship fund.JustMedia Production organised the event which was sponsored by three companies, OCP Africa, BlackCountry Farms and Providus Bank.
