The Premier Arts and Science Charter announced in an open letter to families and staff that it will not reopen for the upcoming school year.A charter school in Harrisburg will not be reopening for the 2024-25 school year.that on Thursday, the Board of Directors voted to cease its opposition to the Resolution of Non-Renewal issued by the Harrisburg School District.
According to the open letter, the Board of Directors determined that it would be in the best interest of families enrolled in the school to cease their opposition and assist them in finding a new school for the upcoming school year. Establishment of a Transition Team: The Transition Team will consist of one representative from the school's administration, teaching faculty and support staff.
Establishment of a Staff Transition Team: The Staff Transition Team will assist staff members with the transition of finding employment for the 2024-2025 school year. Additionally, this team will work collaboratively with the administration to support the social-emotional health and wellness of the staff.
