TammyPetersen87 Kak study

TammyPetersen87 My only problem with the research which acknowledges the effects of apartheid, social conditions and behaviours is that it did not name the community. Coloured women in place X face a problem is more helpful.

TammyPetersen87 Guys do u honestly think in this day and age a varsity will not be very aware of race sensitivity. Read what it is about before u make it a race thing again.

TammyPetersen87 The sample of the population which the research focused on was probably chosen in such a way to reach a preconceived conclusion. Very limited and therefore narrow minded type of thinking by the author. It is a shame that such research was allowed by US to be published.

TammyPetersen87 Can we please report this EFFSouthAfrica PublicProtector I am so sick of this when ppl of colour are treated like they came 2nd to this country. Whites want to claim they invented all things positive but will never take responsibility for inventing racism. U are born from Esau.

TammyPetersen87 It’s a pity the university chose to condone this drivel. As expected the sample size, geographical location & merits reveal the mindset of the writer. The writer irrespective of their perceived race should consider their own coloured heritage, oh yes it’s there.

TammyPetersen87 Studies like this are done all over the world. This one is about exploitation of a vulnerable group and part of a bigger project. It's not about race or IQ. It's been ethically cleared beforehand. Read the article.

TammyPetersen87 People only want facts when it suits them.

TammyPetersen87 Race and IQ needs to be addressed realistically. Hiding from the facts just makes the problem worse.

TammyPetersen87 They had the option to stop the thesis/study when it was proposed.

TammyPetersen87 Let's look at Stellenbosch & how ppl of colour are still treated today. Let's go back to the dop system when alcohol was a payment to ppl of colour after a week of labour. Let me say this...Stellenbosch is a RACIST community thats breeds entitled brats.

TammyPetersen87 What is the expected outcome of the ‘study’?

TammyPetersen87 Let's shoot the messenger, it's a lot easier than addressing the problem.

OPINIONISTA: Heteronormative stereotyping leads us down the path of cognitive dissonanceIf we are ever going to confront the question of who we are, we have to challenge the normative culture in South Africa, which is still underpinned by white privilege – a privilege that is unwavering and unforgiving, unable to hold itself accountable or to measure itself. A recently published Stellenbosch University study shows no glimmer of reflection or consideration that identity and race are complex and layered, but instead relies on the notion that race is a collective sentence.
