Onthank Primary School teacher Abbie McLelland has been awarded East Ayrshire ’s Probationer of the Year Award.
In addition to normal teaching duties, she directed a school show and has led a number of other initiatives and extracurricular clubs this year. She is passionate about ensuring that all children receive the best possible experience through her teaching. “I would also like to thank my mentor, depute head Mrs Findlay, who has been so supportive and encouraging throughout the year.”
