A school community is reeling from the sudden loss of a "much-loved" teacher from Manchester who "put others first and always wanted the very best for the students she worked with".
The school shared the "tragic news" to parents in a letter, while providing an space for grief through an online book of condolence, reports Lancs Live. A statement released by the school read: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracey Reeves, a valued and respected member of staff at Carnforth High School for more than 20 years. She was a loving, caring wife to Andrew and devoted mother to Michael.
Rebecca Coldwell said: "I knew Tracey as both a parent and colleague and her sudden passing has been difficult to process. Where do you begin when talking about a woman who has literally touched so many? All I can say is Tracey has left an incredible legacy at Carnforth High: a woman of the highest integrity and passion for supporting students, their families/ carers and her colleagues every single day.
