BEAUFORT: The main objective of establishing fire and rescue cadets is to expose them to firefighting and rescue duties as well as cultivate high discipline at the school-level.

Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station Chief Muhammad Hasbullah Nenggok said this after the fire and rescue cadet competition was held at the Papar District Community Hall here on Thursday and Friday.It also aims to educate cadet members on how to prevent fires at school or home and make firefighting knowledge a continuous learning process.
