A UNIVERSITY has failed to pay its staff and a union has called for an urgent fix and compensation for all those who are affected.
Unison, one of the largest trade unions in the UK, posted a statement on its social media saying they were aware that “no-one” employed by the university had been paid today. “Rent, mortgages and direct debits could go unpaid, and staff could go overdrawn and incur further charges.
