In addition to the charges in Prince George’s County Circuit Court, last week Everett pleaded guilty to federal charges of kidnapping of a minor and possession of child pornography involving a teenage girl he drove from the District to his Maryland home and assaulted. He is scheduled to be sentenced in that case in U.S. District Court in Maryland in October. But prosecutors said his sentence in the federal case, combined with that of his Prince George’s case, will not exceed 25 years.
Braveboy cautioned women not to feel guilty and reminded them that, even if they drank alcohol, what happened to them were “acts of violence” unless they consented to sex.
