The Town of Ajax and the University of Toronto are teaming up to address the spread of an invasive plant in the Kerrison Wetland.

To address it, a special type of moth was released within two areas of the Kerrison Wetland where Phragmites is healthly and dominant. Researchers with the university will monitor the site throughout the year to help inform future management approaches.
