WELLINGTON, Colo. — Mandatory evacuations are in place for a wildfire burning north of Wellington in northern Colorado.

Details of the wildfire were not immediately available. In a tweet, the Poudre Fire Authority said its crews were responding alongside the Wellington Fire Protection District to a reported wildfire burning about eight miles north of Wellington.
