THE National University Laguna 200 OK Team was hailed as the champion of 2024 Calabarzon Cybersecurity HackForGov3 Capture-the-Flag competition sponsored by the Department of Information and Communication Technology Region 4-A and Philippines National Computer Emergency Response Team held at the Lima Park Hotel, Lipa-Malvar, Batangas on June 6, 2024.The competition theme was 'Today's Generation, Tomorrow's Champion: Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity through Shared Responsibility.

The HackForGov Capture-the-Flag competition aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of cybersecurity and provide hands-on experience with techniques used in the virtual world.It features a series of challenges and scenarios simulating real-world cyber threats, covering various categories such as network security, web security, cryptography and incident response.From 31 teams that registered for the competition, only 12 finalists were chosen to compete for the top spot.
