Road users in Cumnock are being warned of two months of disruption as Scottish Water carry out upgrades.
The works have been timed to largely coincide with the school summer holidays as pupils finish up on Friday, June 28. When the works begin on July 1, a single-lane priority system will be in place for vehicles on Underwood Road. Then, from July 15, traffic management will be in place along Auchinleck Road near the Barony Campus to allow for the safe completion of the work.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: “Road users are being advised of some traffic management to enable Scottish Water upgrade works on the local water network in Cumnock.
