It's almost time to but new school uniforms, but to help cut the costs you could be entitled to up to a £200 non-repayable grant.

Are you are sticking your head in the sand this summer at the thought of paying out for your children's new school uniforms? Well, there is support across the country to help cut the costs ahead of the pricey back to school period.

The good news is School Uniform costs are down 4%, compared to last year despite continued inflationary pressure the SA confirms. Many supermarkets already have their sales on now. The second edition of FTCT's back-to-school campaign will run from Monday, 1 July to Wednesday, 31 July. The help isn’t a statutory requirement in England, which means parents face a postcode lottery for the help. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Netmums

If you live in England, it's best to contact your local council to find out if there is support in your area.
