Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Michael Fassbender is set to star in a new TV series that remakes a critically acclaimed French series is now in the works, and the show is incredibly exciting after the actor's return to form with an 85% Rotten Tomatoes success. Michael Fassbender has always been great, but a 2023 film highlighted just how fantastic the actor is, with him collaborating with David Fincher to make a hilarious action/crime film.
The Agency will follow a similar story structure, with Michael Fassbender playing a CIA agent who is recalled to London Station, with his love reappearing at around the same time. Although it isn't yet known how long Michael Fassbender's The Agency series will last, it is at least known that the upcoming show will tackle The Bureau's initial storyline.
Interestingly, The Killer and the upcoming series The Agency have another big similarity. As was already mentioned, The Agency is based on a French series. However, many don't realize that David Fincher's The Killer is based on a French graphic novel, with the film only covering a small fraction of the complete story. Michael Fassbender has already proven that he can successfully tackle adaptations of French works, so hopefully the same is true for when The Agency releases.
