Toni Anderson Culver heads to Brundidge after serving since 2021 as an assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Dothan High School.

Pike County High School announced on Monday that Toni Anderson Culver would become the next head coach for the Bulldogs softball program.DOTHAN, Ala. - Pike County High School reached towards Houston County in finding the next in line to take over the Bulldogs softball program, as the school announced on Monday that Toni Anderson Culver would become the next head coach for the Lady Dawgs.

The first-time head coach heads to Brundidge after serving since 2021 as an assistant coach and head junior varsity coach at Dothan High School. As part of the coaching staff this past season, Culver helped the Lady Wolves advance to the 7A State Softball Tournament for the first time since the consolidated school opened.

Culver is a 2014 graduate of the former Dothan High School and as a player was part of the Lady Tigers’ 2011 squad that went on to become 6A State Champions. After graduating from DHS, Culver would take her talents to Florida A&M University where she would become a standout for the Lady Rattlers, earning All-Conference and All-Academic honors during her time and being part of back-to-back-to-back MEAC Championship teams in 2015, 2016 and 2017.and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
