Yamal: If Spain reach final, I won't go back to school

GELSENKIRCHEN, GERMANY - JUNE 20: Lamine Yamal of Spain during the UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match between Spain and Italy at Arena AufSchalke on June 20, 2024 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Spain teenager Lamine Yamal is says he won't go back to school if the team reaches the European Championship final. Yamal become the youngest player ever to play at the European Championship when he started in Spain's win over Croatia last weekend. The 16-year-old has already confirmed he is doing school work while on international duty, but reveals he won't return to school if La Roja go all the way in the tournament."How many hours do I study? Well, since we have a lot of free time, it's not something that I put in and say: 'Today at least two hour," Yamal said, as per Goal.

"When I'm in the room with nothing to do, I take the iPad and do a couple of homework, and when Nico or Fermín call me to play PlayStation, I go down with them."What about my grades? I guess they will send them to me online because it depends on how far we go in the Euro Cup, which I hope will be very far away because I won't be going back to class anymore.
