The Grade 5 student from École publique Écho-des-Rapides is the winner of this year's contest. Elise submitted a letter that demonstrated an understanding of municipal operations and expressed a desire to help others.The City of Sault Ste. Mayor Shoemaker and the City wish to extend congratulations to Elise and all of the students who participated in the contest. Through written or video submissions, local youth demonstrated an understanding of municipal governance and operations, along with a passion for Sault Ste.
