Denver general manager George Paton recently hired former Stanford head coach David Shaw to a senior position in the team’s personnel department, a source with knowledge of the hire confirmed to The Post.

After the Broncos fired coach Nathaniel Hackett late in 2022, Shaw was one of the group of coaches that interviewed for the head coaching job that eventually went to Sean Payton.
