Seattle police responded to the area at 6:11 p.m. Friday, which was the culmination of the school’s annual “Purple & White Week” celebrating seniors.

Donate today and help provide meals to local children & families.in the parking lot of the school, students witnessed a drive-by shooting as they gathered in Seward Park for an end-of-the-school-year celebration.No one was injured in the shooting, and no property damage was reported.

The week before, on June 6, 17-year-old Amarr Murphy Paine was killed trying to break up a fight during lunch outside in the parking lot of the school. No arrests have been made yet in that case.17-year-old student was shot in the leg
