SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Homelander's room contains a surprising secret in The Boys season 4, with one item tragically paying homage to Black Noir. Black Noir was one of the main members of The Boys' premiere superhero team throughout the first three seasons, with him being the stoic assassin of The Seven. However, Homelander ended up killing Black Noir in The Boys season 3, putting an end to his time in the show.
Throughout The Boys' first three seasons, Black Noir is seen using this sword several times during his fight scenes, with this being one of the supe's most iconic weapons. Although Black Noir has been replaced by an imposter in The Boys season 4, the new iteration of the supe is never seen with the character's trusty sword, creating a mystery of what happened to it.
The decision to keep Noir's sword could also have to do with the other items that are in the box. Homelander's other items pay homage to his former friends and coworkers who have died, but only those that he seemed to once love. Homelander even has an item that represents Madelyn Stillwell, someone who Homelander killed himself. If Homelander can have a keepsake from Stillwell, then he can also have one from Black Noir, despite both of these individuals being killed by Homelander.
