Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested and detained three staff of the state Ministry of Health over alleged misappropriation of registration fees of 186 school of nursing students amounting to over N5 million Our correspondent gathered that those arrested are the former Director, College of Nursing, Hajia Hasiya Sani, the Accountant of Madobi School of Nursing, Ahmed Zubairu and the Focal Person at Madobi School of Nursing, Fadilu Aliyu.

He said for about three years, 120 students of the College of Nursing Science, Danbatta, were yet to be indexed and certified by the Nursing Council due to the non-payment of their fees by the focal person, Zubairu Idris. 'Idris allegedly misappropriated the fees of the students, a development which put them in a precarious situation for about three years during the tenure of Hajia Hasiya Sani as the school director,' Sale said.
