THE Education Department will renew its support to “Project WATCH ” to restore basic virtues among Filipino youth.
“Project WATCH is not just a campaign—it is a movement that transcends individual actions. It is a collective effort that starts with each one of us; it teaches government officials, community leaders and citizens—including students—the value of time to show respect for ourselves and others, and the value of honesty that fosters genuine connection,” said JCI senator Angelica Jones-Alarva, who is the national chairman of the project.
Honesty is the cornerstone of integrity as manifested in words and actions, according to the chamber’s national president Eduardo Echem: “.” For the past 15 years of working with the DepEd under Project WATCH, JCI Senate Philippines has been able to infuse not only in theory, but more so in reality, the virtues of punctuality and honesty among Filipino students.
