TACLOBAN CITY — The Cebu Normal University (CNU) Chorale won the Kanta Binisaya-Kultura Sinirangan Chorale Contest on Tuesday night at the People's Center and Library in Tacloban City.

TACLOBAN CITY — The Cebu Normal University Chorale won the Kanta Binisaya-Kultura Sinirangan Chorale Contest on Tuesday night at the People's Center and Library in Tacloban City.Darlene Yap, the choir's artistic director and adviser, was also named Best Conductor.'We jurors had a difficult job because all choirs were at a high level, and only small details decided the winners in the end,' professor Thomas Schüle said.

CNU Chorale surpassed seven other grand finalists, including Calbayog Chamber Voices from Calbayog City, Samar; Coro Recoleto of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos from Bacolod City; Koro Seraphim from Tagbiliran City; Southern Leyte State University Glee Club from Sogod, Southern Leyte; Surigao del Norte State University from Surigao City; University of San Carlos Choristers from Cebu City; and Vox Minore Chorum from Talisay City, Cebu.
