Valedictorian and respected competitive swimmer Max Liberzon gave an inspiring graduation speech at Ulysses S. Grant High School ceremonies on Monday, June 10 in Valley Glen, where 375 seniors celebrated their final hours as high-schoolers at the “Home of the Lancers.

Dozens of creative mortarboards worn by the graduates had messages for the crowd, ranging from political statements to pure happiness. One that stood out seemed to get to the heart of this 2024 graduating class.
