A survivor of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, who is set to graduate from high school this week, says she wants to become a therapist to help pay it forward.

Ella Seaver, who was just 7 years old at the time of the 2012 shooting, told 'Good Morning America' she made up her mind about a year after the tragedyAbigail Adams is a Human Interest Writer and Reporter for PEOPLE. She has been working in journalism for seven years., who is set to graduate from high school this week, is looking forward to kickstarting a career where she can help others the way she was helped after the horrific tragedy.

But having classmates who share and understand the experience has been helpful.
