Uber driver 'dumps pregnant woman, 20, on roadside after realising she was heading to an abortion clinic telling her she'd regret the decision forever'

A STUDENT is claiming an Uber driver abandoned her on the roadside after he realised he was taking her to an abortion clinic.

The 20-year-old from New York alleges the cabbie was “uncomfortable” as soon as she got into the car and began quizzing her about her destination.The anonymous young woman posted about her alleged ordeal on Reddit, which cannot be verified.Because there was no appointment in a local clinic, she decided to take an Uber to one an hour away.

But soon into the journey she claims the driver began interrogating her about where she was going and why before telling her she was “making a mistake”.She said: “He then said ‘I know it's none of my business, but…’ and proceeded to mention something about his wife being pregnant, how awful the procedure was , and that "there is so much they don’t tell you.

“He then said ‘you're going to regret this decision for the rest of your life" and that I was making a mistake’.”Holding back tears, she said simply looked out of the window and avoided eye contact.She said: “There was a gas station and a closed antiques store, and around us was farmland and forest.“I can take you back to [my city], but you won’t be able to find another Uber out here.
