McGill University Student Appears to Spit on School President at Graduation Before Unfurling Anti-Israel BannerA student at McGill University in Quebec appeared to spit on the school president as she was presented with her diploma, before unrolling an anti-Israel banner with a BDS related message on it.A graduating pro-Palestinian student at McGill University made “spitting motions” at two faculty members, including, allegedly, the school president, while receiving her diploma this past week.
It added, however, “it was clear the student was yelling and highly disrespectful. The university remains firmly committed to peaceful and respectful dialogue, even on the most divisive and painful issues.” Around 6 p.m. inside the building on the university’s downtown campus, masked demonstrators could be seen opening windows, chanting and waving a Palestinian flag on what appeared to be the third floor.
