A headteacher and a parent from Springholm Primary are taking on two physical challenges to raise money for charity this weekend.
Mr Teall, who is also headteacher at Hardgate Primary, said: “I think it is important to lead by example. If I encourage children to keep as fit as possible, then I feel I should make the effort too. Pupils at both schools had a fortnight of activities focusing on how to keep as healthy as possible, with Alex giving each of the Springholm classes a very enjoyable keep fit session with a range of stretches, balances and aerobic exercises.
Tracy Martin and Sara Barbour visited both schools to talk about how good quality red meat can be part of a healthy diet.
