In a statement Wednesday, the protesters said they barricaded themselves inside the building in protest of the university’s refusal to negotiate with the People’s University for Palestine encampment on the campus.The protesters said that if their demands were not met, they would have to be forcibly removed. By the time law enforcement removed them, Building 10 had “extensive damage to the interior and exterior of the building.” Mostofi said.
