Ms Higgs is planning legal action against Farmor’s school after accusing her bosses of unfair dismissal and discrimination.
She also revealed she had taken her son out of No Outsiders lessons, which is allowed under current relationships and sex education guidelines. The lessons are only compulsory for secondary school pupils but the National Education Union has backed a government motion to put it on the curriculum for all pupils.
Ms Higgs, who is being backed by the Christian Legal Centre, added: ‘I am determined to fight this case and to stand for Christians and all parents across the country who are being silenced for sharing and holding these views.’ Some Muslim parents in Birmingham have also objected to the inclusion of LGBT content in lessons, which has led to the references being dropped in six schools.

She is right. The state should not be taking this subject out of the hands of parents many of whom don’t agree with an agenda that goes against the belief the are entitled to hold.
