Alaska: girl expelled for kneeing boy protesting trans student's bathroom use

What was supposed to be a protest against a selfie ended with a knee to the groin and a controversial expulsion.

You cant use violence to express your beliefs! What do you think would happen if the 7 boys followed this philosophy when they ran into this girl? they were obviously smart enough not to escalate this and it turned out ok for the girl thankfully.

Of course this girl shouldn’t have been expelled! What she saw was a bunch of boys invading the ‘girls’ bathroom. Obviously, she was frightened, and took action to defend herself. Would they have expelled her if she was fighting off an assault? Why weren’t the BOYS expelled!?!

Sounds like a violent assault against the lad. She's lucky the police weren't called.

Seven boys entered the washroom as a group and she quickly judged who was the leader and took him out, give that girl a medal.

That's a misleading title. The girl never mentioned she did that because of the protest. She might have just done it because of she felt threatened of the straight boy who entered the facility unceremoniously.

If the girl had a attacked a mtf trans student because she felt threatened you would all be behind her... Either violence is unacceptable without provocation or you admit that she felt threatened and understand why a young woman might feel threatened by having many boys enter.

I hope this girl grows up and runs for office and makes serious changes.

It's not OK to do what she did and she should be punished, but expulsion is a bit too much tbh...
