A university has been accused of failing working-class students after sharing a video featuring an undergraduate supporting herself with five jobs.
One student even accused the university of turning into ‘some twisted version of Stalin’s Russia’ by promoting an ‘unrealistic and unhealthy amount of work’.The video features a Polish undergraduate called Anna who talks about balancing her studies alongside work.‘When I came for university, I was worried that I would be the person who doesn’t have time to socialise because she has to work.
But the video has sparked outrage from students at the Devon-based university who shared their stories of struggling to support themselves through degrees.
