TAWAU: At a recent fig tree planting event opposite Tawau Hills Park, organised by 1StopBorneo Wildlife and led by individuals and Lions Club members from Kolej Vocational School Tawau, saw the participation of over 43 students to plant 100 fig trees donated by the Lions Club.

1StopBorneo Wildlife has been actively involved in planting thousands of fig trees in Sabah, recognising the crucial role these trees play as keystone species, cherished by various wildlife for their nourishment.The Laran tree species, provided by Lions Club members, was also planted during the event. Children joined their parents to plant fig trees.
