Emergency services raced to Ferryhill Primary on Old Groathill Road North in Drylaw after the alarm was raised at around 2.50pm on Monday.

Ambulance crews attended and a five-year-old boy was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People for treatment.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 2.50pm on Monday, June 3, to a report of a crash on Old Groathill Road North in Edinburgh involving a child and a car.
