Jake went to school in Clonmel and worked as an apprentice pipe-fitter

A man who tragically died when his car and a truck crashed in Co Tipperary has been named locally as 21-year-old Jake Anderson.

Gardai are trying to establish the exact cause of the crash, which happened on a wide, straight stretch of the N24. The truck driver, who is not from the area, was brought by ambulance to South Tipperary General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and shock.Gardai confirmed that a family liaison officer has been working with the victim's family, who are well-known in the local area.
