St. James School names Mark Hall their next Head Boy’s Basketball Coach. Hall has served on the athletics staff at St. James since 2017 as the head softball coach. In addition to now being the head boy’s basketball coach and the head softball coach, Hall will also be a physical education teacher for both the middle and high school as well as serving as an assistant middle school football coach.
Hall, who is a Montgomery native, had a successful basketball career at Robert E. Lee High School During his time in high school, Hall was apart of the 1992 state runner-up team and was a member of the all-state team. After high school, Hall attended Auburn University at Montgomery and played basketball all four years under legendary coach Larry Chapman and assistant coach Nigel Card.
“Coach Hall has been part of our Trojan family for many years, and we are excited that he will lead our boys basketball program and continue building on the success of the softball program,”
