A total of 153 out of the 8,670 students that are graduating during the 27th convocation ceremony of the Lagos State University, LASU, are graduating in the first class category, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has said.

Briefing newsmen on Thursday at the main campus of the university in Ojo, Lagos, she added that 98 doctoral degree holders would also graduate.

Also, former Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN, is slated to deliver the convocation lecture titled, “Embracing the Future: Navigating the Intersection of Technology and Humanity”.

Also, a Distinguished Professor, Martins Anetekhai, has been elevated to the post of Emeritus Professor and Professor Amidu Sanni becoming a Distinguished Professor.
