Newstalk presenter Sean Defoe has opened up about being diagnosed with and receiving treatment for testicular cancer.

"He suddenly pulled very sharply to the left and clipped me. The pain was extraordinary and I couldn't ignore it any longer."
The next step was surgery to remove one of his testicles. The radio presenter then had a scan to check if the cancer had spread further, and a couple of days later learned it had spread to his abdomen.
