School children said “we’re going to die” after a man brandished a knife in front of them on Dublin’s Parnell Square, a court has heard.

Det Garda Griffin said the accused “threatened a woman with a baby,” and told them to “f**k off.”
He said it is also alleged that the accused went to another school bus full of children on Gardiner Street and pointed a knife in a “clear attempt to intimidate the bus driver.” He told the court that the bus driver closed the door of the bus as he “feared for his safety.” The accused continued to tell the court that he was representing himself and said “I think it is unlawful.”
