The speed camera across from Cedarview Middle School is responsible for 9,945 tickets in August, September and October, the most of any in the city during that period.

They'll be set up in Community Safety Zones to slow drivers near schools, according to a media release from the city.Posted: May 28, 2024 12:46 PM EDT | Last Updated: 40 minutes ago

The cameras are mobile and will first be set up along Norman Rogers Drive and Lancaster Drive in September, before rotating to different locations roughly every three months. All revenue collected from speeders will be used to cover the costs of the program, or will be invested in other road safety initiatives, said Wood.
