TBpeople Philippines Organizational, Inc., recently held a successful TB Discipleship and TB Education program for TB survivors, close contacts of TB patients, and barangay health workers in Davao City. The event, held at Acacia Hotel, Davao City aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to fight tuberculosis in their communities.
Key members of the core team explained their roles and responsibilities, providing insights into the inner workings of the organization. This segment aimed to inspire and inform potential members of TBpeople Davao about the structure and manpower needed to establish a local chapter. Participants learned about the various tasks involved in running an effective TB advocacy group, from community outreach to patient support and education.
