JOHOR BARU: The Johor Environment Department has conducted air quality checks around the Taman Dato Yunus Sulaiman following a fire at a factory on Monday night.
“The department conducted checks around Jalan Bahagia 1, some 300m from the scene, and in front of SJK Ping Ming, some 500m away. “No odour was detected near the school,” he said, adding that the checks were conducted on Tuesday morning.Ling said he would continue to monitor the situation and that, as of Tuesday afternoon, there was no need for the area to be evacuated.
