Toronto police have released new surveillance video as they search for two suspects who opened fire on a Jewish girls' school over the weekend.for weapons fired shortly before 9 a.m. and located a bullet hole in a window at the school, along with evidence of gunfire.According to police, surveillance footage showed a dark-coloured vehicle pulling up in front of the school at around 4:50 a.m. That's when two suspects got out and discharged firearms at the school, police said.

A suspect vehicle being sought with in connection with gunfire aimed at a Jewish girls' school in North York is pictured in this image released by Toronto police. He said he's grateful that a grant from the federal government a few years ago allowed the school to install a fence that prevented the suspects from actually coming onto the property.

Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw and Mayor Olivia Chow attended the rally. Chow told the crowd that"you are not alone." Mayor Olivia Chow and a number of other councillors await the start of a rally in support of the Jewish community Monday May 27, 2024 after a Jewish girls' school was targeted with gunfire over the weekend.
